About Me

Christine Triano, LCSW

I've long believed in the power of story and one of the greatest things about my work is helping others discover theirs. It's an endeavor of discovery and opportunity for growth that humbles and inspires me every day.

In my own story, I have experienced firsthand the remarkable agency we all have to create more satisfying lives and relationships. I also know it is never too late to lean into change or take a risk on growth. On the road to this point, I've been a public policy advocate and researcher, an alternative press editor and program director, a media consulting business owner, a reality television producer and a documentary film producer and writer.

Fueled by a desire for more time with my kids, I found myself one day filling out grad school applications from the couch in the edit bay. There was an insistent calling to be of service that I could no longer deny. Leaving a successful career in entertainment to pursue a social work degree at mid-life with two young children to support was met with a curious response at best and outright disapproval at worst. With support from friends, family — and a good therapist — today I can confidently say I have finally found what I want to be when I grow up. That's my story — and I guarantee you it's far from over.

Now, let's talk about you. Wherever we begin, I offer coaching and counseling services that will nurture your spirit, help process the injuries of the past and create a new path forward. I know taking the first step can feel overwhelming. I hope we can connect and explore the possibilities together. Contact me today to see where your story takes you.
